A life of movement that now moves others
In her early life, Renate Menneke lived in Asia/India. Her experiences, impressions and the inspiration she gained from this time colours her life and her artistic orientation right up until today.
Returning to Germany, she later met her husband and founded a family. In addition to looking after her family, Renate Menneke was a self-employed art dealer for almost ten years. During this time she became acquainted with a famous contemporary artist. He mentored her for many years and introduced her to the art of oil painting.
In the meantime, Renate Menneke is now a successful freelance artist and also acts as artistic consultant for architecture and interior design. She lives with her family in Bad Camberg and her studio is located in the Christian community Kloster Gnadenthal.
